I am a founding board member and reluctant president of LANL, living in Mount Pearl and originally from Torbay, NL. A retired professional accountant, my experience is in accounting, internal auditing, and regulatory compliance with an electrical utility. I have lymphedema secondary to endometrial cancer. I am fiercely committed to letting people with lymphedema know that they have it, that it can be treated, and getting them information on lymphedema self-care. My pet project is having best practice lymphedema treatment readily available throughout the province.
My two grandsons are the joy of my life, and I enjoy spending time with my large extended family. Reading, cooking, and escaping the winters with my husband are among my other interests.
