Who we are

Our Mission

The mission of LANL is to promote health by providing access to related counseling, information, or group support programs to individuals affected with lymphedema and to advance education by providing grants to Certified Lymphedema Therapists to obtain additional training in lymphedema treatment.

What we do

Our work includes

  •  the support group Lymphie Connections,
  • maintaining a website and Facebook page with information about lymphedema,
  • establishing and now working on a provincial working group with the Department of Health and Community Services and the Regional Healthcare Authorities,
  • holding Public Forums, and
  • generally raising awareness of lymphedema with healthcare providers, those affected by lymphedema and the general public.
