From Renews, NL, with 11 siblings, I have a BComm and MBA and worked at Memorial University (MUN) for over 33 years, most recently Director, Housing Food and Conferences Services. I have presented at Canada wide conferences, taught part time with the Faculty of Business Administration and worked on fundraisers. I was pleased to work on many committees in many roles, from member to chair, and received the President’s Award for Exemplary Service and The Dean’s Award for Corporate Citizenship. I became interested in LANL after my lifelong friend, living with secondary lymphedema in both arms, became a diligent advocate of the LANL and recruited me.
I am retired and busy adoring my grandchildren and spending more time with my mother, enjoying my cottage and travelling with my husband. I also enjoy yoga, socializing and appreciating the outdoors.
