I am a retired instructor at the Marine Institute of Memorial University, living in Goulds and originally from Logy Bay. I’ve taught courses in quality management, problem solving, quality assurance and food safety. I also developed and delivered numerous education/training courses ranging from short industrial nationally accredited course to in-house courses at the technical certificate, diploma of technology, baccalaureate degree, advance diploma, and post-graduate diploma level programs. I have lymphedema in my left leg, secondary to melanoma. I am determined to help raise awareness of this condition and to help others learn how to live with lymphedema.
I enjoy exercise and shallow water fitness classes, and love to cook and travel. Most of all, I love spending time with my four beautiful grandchildren.
