I am a founding LANL board member, and a Registered Nurse with experience in community and breast health, living in Portugal Cove. I’m also trained as a lymphedema therapist and as an Aqua Lymphatic Therapy Instructor. I am now working at HealthQuest, a private retail company, in their Amoena Shop (which specializes in breast prosthetics and breast products) and as a compression garment fitter. I am keen on promoting lymphedema awareness throughout our province and feel very privileged to be working with such a hardworking and dedicated board of directors and members.
I enjoy the great outdoors with family and friends, including vegetable gardening, berry picking, hiking, and skiing throughout our great province and beyond. I consider these activities in the outdoors are fundamental in keeping one well physically and mentally. My family includes my husband, three adult children and their partners, two grandbabies, three huskies and pusskins, with whom I share my love of cooking, hiking, yoga, music and hanging out together.
LANL’s mission is to support people living with lymphedema.
